My clients that have returned are very comfortable with the masks, temperature taken, Name and phone number written down for CDC tracing, all the sanitizing in-between, clean cape for each client etc. We are doing all the required cleaning protocol put in place from Board of Cosmetology, all the CDC protocol and limiting the number of clients and stylist in the Salon at one time. With the shelter in place and the cost of living in San Diego, quite a few of my clients have left San Diego, all for different places, but similar reasons. I have had numerous clients move out of California. Clients are going longer between their appointments also, which makes for less appointments each week. Also quite a few clients stopped having perms and just are going with Haircuts.
Yes, Covid 19 to start has had a number of clients not going out of their homes to get their hair done. It is slower than last year for a number of reason. Clients are going longer between their appointments also.
